Chocolate Applesauce Cake
From: Grandma Jean Van Wie
Combine:
1/2 C. magerine,
1 1/4 C. sugar,
2 eggs.
In separate bowl, combine:
2 C. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. cinnamon
2 T. cocoa
Stir dry mixture in with other bowl. Stir in one 1 pound can of applesauce. Pour into 9x13' cake pan. Sprinkle 2 T. sugar, 1 C. chocolate chips over top of cake. Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes.
