Pasties (Meat Pies)

1 Ib. ground beef
fresh parsley, chopped
1 brick (8 oz) monterey jack cheese, cut into small cubes
one recipe roll or bread dough
salt and pepper

Allow bread dough to rise. Cook ground beef and drain. Combine with cheese and parsley. Salt and pepper to taste. Punch down dough and roll thin. Cut into squares and seal meat mixture into triangles.

Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 until golden brown. Butter tops and serve warm.
